Eric prides himself with a six client capacity in one boat the (22 foot Go-For-It), and new for the 2001 season the 18 passenger, (28 foot Stikine Dream). He works closely with the client to meet their individual needs giving them a memorable trip with flexible departure times. Charters include beverages and a complementary tour map. With Breakaway Adventures making your vacation dreams a reality is what it is all about!

Rain Walker Expeditions- Specializing in Naturalist Guided Nature Walks by Marie Oboczky whose approach is educational yet informal. Marie visited Wrangell on a vacation a few years ago, fell in love with the island and has returned to make it her home. Marie is a delightful person with a special sparkle and enjoys sharing her love of the area's natural history, flora and fauna with Wrangell visitors.

Alaska Waters Inc.-Wilderness and Wildlife Tours are the forte of this family owned operation where stories and legends of native culture and history have trickled down through the family for 10,000 years. Captain Jim Leslie, co-owner with his wife Wilma, has lived in Alaska for twenty-seven years and has gained an extensive knowledge of the area from his father-in-law, Dick Stokes (Tlinget Elder). It has been said that  Jim is very accommodating, easy to talk to, comfortable to be around, and runs a safe and professional operation.

Wrangell.com-Visit Wrangell's home page where you will have six categories of information to chose from. "Our Community" will take you to the Chamber of Commerce web site where you will learn more about accommodations, tours, charters, and restaurants under the heading, MEMBERS. "Things to See and Do" and "Cultural Heritage" are other areas you will want to browse.

Alaska Marine Highway- This is our highway system to Southeast Alaska and joins Alaska Airlines for easy access to Wrangell. One can board an Alaska ferry in Bellingham, Washington or Prince Rupbert B.C., Canada for access to Alaska. The ferries have staterooms and private baths, however, one can "rough it" with a sleeping bag on one of the lounge areas or a covered area on the upper deck at the stern of the ship. Vehicles, including motorcycles, boats and bicycles may be taken on the ferries. You may call Alaska Marine Highways @ 1-800-642-0066.
